El Dorado Camera Club

Are photographers are invited to participate in a judged photography print competition hosted by the El Dorado Camera Club at their next meeting on Thursday, February 21. This competition is open to all members and non-members for a small entry fee. Membership in the club is free to high school students.

There are multiple categories for color and black and white photos and ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third winners. There are monetary awards for Theme and Best of Show category winners. Special theme for this competition is “Surprise”. This theme is open to interpretation by the photographer.

Special judge for this competition is well-known photographer, teacher and competition judge O. Truman Holtzclaw.

The meeting is held at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive in Cameron Park. Photo check-in begins at 6:30 pm, judging begins at 7:00 pm.
