Cantare Chorale to Perform at Music On The Divide December Concert


Are you looking for a perfect way to kick off the holiday season? Mark your calendars for December 10th, 3pm, because Music On The Divide has a treat in store for you! The celebrated vocal ensemble, Cantare Chorale of the Sierra Foothills, will be performing in the Georgetown IOOF Hall.

For 20 years, Cantare Chorale has brought a variety of high quality musical offerings to audiences from the California Capitol to Carnegie Hall. For this special holiday concert, Cantare Chorale will present a repertoire both rich and diverse in its celebration of the spirit of the Christmas season. The concert will feature “A Ceremony of Carols” by Benjamin Britten and “The Christmas Alleluias” with music by Kim Andre Arnesen and lyrics by Euan Tait.

Plan not to miss this season’s premier event, in the beautifully decorated historic IOOF Hall bedecked with fresh fir boughs, lights and a giant lit Christmas tree. As always, complimentary tea, coffee, lemonade and home-baked cookies will be served at intermission. Admission is with a Music On The Divide 2017-18 membership card or $20 at the door, $5 for students, and children 5 years or under free with parent.
