Arts in Nature Fest

The Arts and Nature Festival (ANF) is an annual event that has a primary mission of celebrating the LOCAL community through the union of local history/literature/storytelling, science/nature, expression of the arts (music, poetry, drama, community art, etc…).  The event is hosted at our very own Georgetown Nature Area, located behind the district office.
COME DRESSED TO GET MESSY & PLAY IN THE WOODS!
This year’s THEME:  Express Nature through the Arts ~ Be one with the Divide
 · Entertainment and Interactive Programs
· Music, dancing, drama, jam & slam open mic
· Indigenous peoples drumming, dancing, and storytelling
· Educational stories, story trail walk, writing workshops, songs, and history
· Kirby’s Kid Zone, Hands on Activities
· Yoga, poetry, art lessons, environmental and community art
· Discussion/Demonstrations on homesteading arts
· Guided Nature Walks/Explore plants & trees
  (Any science students interested in doing an environmental education or life science booth featuring local fauna, flora, wildlife….?)
